Events, Activities & Volunteering opportunities
Kent Bat Group hold and support a variety of events throughout the year. Come and join one of our events to learn more about bats or the group itself.
Kent Bat Group hold summer bat walks and activities as well as indoor winter meetings and talks. We also regularly attend other shows, conferences and other local and national events, Training Courses and Conferences.

AGM followed by a talk 'Effects of urban growth on bats in Kent: a first look at 40 years of untapped data'
Our AGM will be followed by a talk presented by Daisy Jowers from University College London.
Daisy is currently analysing nearly 40 years of data on Kent’s bats for her Masters project, and will be sharing the results from her work in person at Lenham Community Centre.
Refreshments will be provided at the event and donations towards the running costs would be appreciated. This can be done in person on the day, suggested amount £3, or on-line via our donation page https://www.kentbatgroup.org.uk/support-us please put a note in the comments box to let us know what the donation is for.
Non-members welcome.
Liz of Bizzy Illustrations will be at the event selling her batty wares. Please bring your cash, Liz donates 5% of her profits to the Kent Bat Group and Bat Conservation Trust.
Volunteers needed for LWS and churchyard summer surveys
We are looking for volunteers to assist with some Local Wildlife Sites and churchyard surveys for next year (2025).
