Bats & Moths night at Woodsell

Come to Woodsell to enjoy moths and bats with us and the Kent Moth Group.

The activities start in the afternoon.

Saturday 16th May

16:00 to 18:00 a moth talk by Dave Shenton followed by a hunt for moths, larvae and mines.

18:00 to 20:40 a break with tea and soft drinks provided. Time to enjoy a walk around the Nature Trails, have a picnic or pop to The Plough Inn, Stalisfield (10 min walk).

20:40 to 21:20 expert John Puckett will give a talk about bats.

21:25 to 22:30(ish) a walk around the site to see what bats we can see and hear. Checking moth traps as we go.

Sunday 17th at 09:00 Dave will reveal what's in the traps (please let Dave know on the Saturday if you're coming back for this part of the event).

If the weather is poor, the talks will still go ahead, but we may have to forgo the walks and moth trap checks.
